Then comes the time for food, preceded usually by a little hug to papa. It's amazing how fast babies get into their habit. We usually give her food in the kitchen while we prepare our dinner. Ideally we put her to bed before we start eating and I tend to have the leading role here: I sing her night song (Doucement, doucement, etc.) and the night is on... She made it a bit difficult the first couple of nights but by now she is OK and sleeps almost right away. It was unpleasant letting her cry at the beginning but it paid off & by now it seems she has understood when it's time to sleep. She used to be very docile when whe was alone in France with Promina but obviously changing environment and retrieving her father has tempted her to try and stretch the discipline...
