University of Ghana campus and Accra

Today we decided to do one of our last sight-seeing of Accra, just outside the city in Legon, where the University of Ghana campus is. It's quite a beautiful campus built in the 50's and 60's. Here is the Balme Library:

The main avenue of the campus, the JB Danquah avenue:

Again the Balme Library:

The three most beautiful women on earth:

The bungalow of the Department of Economics:

The campus is built on a hill overlooking the city of Madina

And here is the tower on top of the hill dominating the campus!

Here is what people see when they arrive to Accra from the North: Independence avenue, with the gigantic Tetteh Quarshie interchange, named after the man who introduce cocoa in Ghana:

The Jubilee House, built in 2008/2009 by the Indians!! This is supposed the become the new site of the Presidency.

Ako Adjei Interchange, on Ring Road in the center of Accra:

And a street of Asylum Down, the district I used to have my office in when I was working at ID-Ghana.
