Here is the arrival in Windhoek, capital of Namibia, our new home-country!!
We are spending a night there before flying tomorrow to our city in the North, Ongwediva (see Wikipedia article in English here; retrouvez l'article sur la région de l'Oshana, où se trouve Ongwediva, en français en cliquant ici). Weather is nicely chill here, and the ambiance calm and relaxing compared to Accra...
Kaddu is happy, and dives in my legs as usual in that kind of situation:
While Mannat is watching her first amazing bird, green with a beautiful long queue (missed the snap, too bad...)
Cool garden for an arrival:
The city is absolutely amazing for whoever comes from a West African capital... German-style houses, not a paper on the floor...
We took a small walk in the city to discover what Namibia can look like:
Really unexpected!
Quite different from Tamale Market isn't it
Independence Avenue, once called Kaiser Whilheim Strasse:
Happy daughter and father!
And the walk in Dysneyland continues!
A PARK! YES, A PARK!!!
After this visit, here we are to board our plane to Ongwediva from Eros Domestic Airport, located in the city... Little bit smaller than Charles de Gaulle... Little bit only... And our plane is also somewhat smaller than a Boeing... Little bit only...
And the view from the inside: you get to know exactly what's going on in the cockpit, that's the good point! :)
