Lake Kariba is the artificial lake formed by the dam. We took a nice break there from the extensive driving we have been doing all along. It's a beautiful place, where we booked a hotel overlooking the lake, in front of the Zimbabwean shore:

The lake tour is majestic and peaceful. I saw a house there that made think of Morbihan gulf and the pink house out of La Rochelle's old harbour:
