Today, the programme was East of Cotonou, close to the Nigerian border, I went to the capital city of Porto Novo. Once you cross the lagoon, you face the cranes that build the next general assembly of Benin:

Compared to Cotonou, Porto Novo looks really laid-back!

A group of fish vendors, try to spot me! (mmmhh... not easy...)

A guy who obviously doesn't feel too bad smuggling fuel into Benin from Nigeria (if he looks tense, I guess cops will guess he's doing something wrong; whereas here, he looks relax, and who'd guess he's actually smuggling fuel???)

The High Court of Benin... Impressive!
