Continuing my trip towards the East, I reached the Upper East Region of Ghana whose border with Upper West Region is materialized by the dried-up Sisili river:
The cathedral of Navrongo was built after Oscar Morin's arrival in 1906 in the Northern city from Ouagadougou where he was bishop. This cathedral was built before that of Nadom. This makes of navrongo the stronghold of Catholicism in Ghana, despite the fact that the area is predominantly Muslim.

Beyond the river, a vast and rich agricultural land can be explored, around the city of Bawku. Despite the wealth the place could enjoy, armed ethnic conflicts are still very vivid in this latter city and compromise the development of the area.
