After the unsuccessful attempt of last month (see post of the 3rd, May), we decided this week-end was the right time to go to Cape Coast in Ghana's Central Region (see map on the right). Cape Coast is famous for its university, its laid-back atmosphere but also for its history as it was until late 19th century the capital of British Gold Coast and before that one of the biggest (if not the biggest) center for slaves trade.But as far as we were concerned, talking about beautiful things and breath-taking views, I believe our cherished child grabbed as usual most of our attention...
Though the city was obviously nice as I said!
Here are some views of the castle, in which the infamous slave trade happenened... Seing the place now, it's hard to believe it actually occur there and then.

We found nice simple little hotel right on the top of the hill in the city center, which was an occasion for Mannat to enjoy a shower instead of the usual bath... Nice and warm!
